Introducing the Educational Destinations Trip Journalist
Educational Destinations, the leader in student educational group travel, is pleased to announce the ED Student Trip Journalist program.
Educational Destinations has long supported the success of students. We also fully support all forms of art expression, writing and other academic endeavors by those students realizing that many additional hidden talents exist in these young leaders.
The Trip Journalist should have an interest in journalism, possibly as a future career and is chosen by the group leader. The Trip Journalist is asked to document the group travel experience from the student view, selecting a trip hashtag, posting photographs to various social media outlets throughout the trip, keeping notes of trip events and collecting quotes from others in the traveling party.
Once the trip is complete, the Trip Journalist will submit a blog. The blog will be produced by ED for publication in their school, on their group’s sites, in the community and on local news outlets. We believe this type of practical experience can be a confidence builder for an up-and-coming writer.
